My Birthday

Had a great Birthday this year...very laid back and relaxing, but the older I get and the more kids we have the more I crave these kinds of days. Justin was so cute about keeping my Birthday and Valentines "separate" this year, usually they just get kinda rolled into one, but I have to say this new listening to Dr. Laura thing has really been good for our "relationship" :) ha ha (Justin would be embarrassed for me telling this, actually he probably wouldn't, but he has started listening to her at work every day, and often comes home and tells me about what he has "learned") :) he tells me that I should listen to her too (hint, hint) I guess so I can learn to be a better wife too. Not that he thinks I am a bad one, but it just never hurts to be reminded to put forth a little more effort towards your spouse, so I will listen occasionally when I happen to be in the car and although I do think she can be a bit arrogant and abrasive she does have some good advice and I have noticed us trying to compliment each other more and make each other feel a little more important. Anyway, enough of the therapy session, just had to explain where Justin got the idea to separate the two this year...Saturday he brought me home flowers and chocolate (for Valentines), Sunday we just lounged, made cookies, and my Sister had us over for dinner which was so nice of her, got a nice, much needed new camera, then Monday Justin took me to SlC to Market Street Grill for my fav. (Alaskan King Crab Legs) ummm! We hadn't been there forever! So, lucky me huh? I got spoiled for a whole weekend this year. (See what I'm saying Thank You talk radio shows :)
The kids got these Fur real puppies for V-day from us!

Ash! Happy Birthday! You are as gorgeous as ever! Dr Laura has done wonders for my marriage. She just keeps you on course. You should read The Proper Care and Keeping of a Husband. That Dr. Laura knows her stuff!

Ashley,
Hi Honey, I'm just looking at your latest blog and you're beautiful in the pictures. What a pretty wife Justin has. And a beutiful mommy you're three kids have. Looks like Justin did good for your birthday. Good job Justin. I can't wait to see you this coming week. The girls and I will be leaving Thursday morning, I'll let you know when we're on the road. I'm glad that you had a great time in L.A. Those memories will always be so special for you and your sisters and cousins. See you soon. Love, Mom
