It's my party and I'll CRY if I want to....

For Lincoln 2nd birthday we had all our family over for pizza and rootbeer floats, and the pictures below show just how much he enjoyed it...he cried pretty much the entire time, he didn't want to open his presents, he didn't want us to sing to him, he didn't want to blow out his candles. But by darn he was going to do it anyway, because I had spent the time and money to do it all, right? Pretty much the only thing he did enjoy for a minute was his Rootbeer float. In his defense he ended up getting a fever and a bad cold the next couple days and I think he was just not feeling very good.

By the next morning we were feeling a little better and ready to play with our fun new toys (he loved his new "matman" from Aunt Melissa)....

Go Saints!!!!

This year we had the Superbowl Party at our house for the first time. As if you can't tell our family was rooting for the Saints... Jett was decked out from head to toe in his Saints uniform. Jett has about 6 favorite teams and a few of their uniforms, thank goodness one of them whose uniform he had made it to the Superbowl! I think it was one of the best days of his life, having a "real" football "party" here. Jett asked me at the first of football season who my favorite team was, and I chose the Saints only because I liked their colors and logo the best (guess I picked a good year to choose my first "real" favorite football team) Jett said "yah, because you decorate your house with Saints stuff huh?" that's right, and almost every room of the house was in full support of the team! We had TONZ of good food and even better company.

My brotherJesse brought the "Keg" (of Rootbeer, that is...) and he was so proud of it we had to get a picture of him with it!

Taya's Baptism Day!

On February 6th Taya was baptized, it was such a great day...she looked so beautiful. I can't believe she is growing up so fast. We are so proud of her and her decision. Taya had many friends and family who came to support her and who love her very much!
