Tag!

I got tagged, to pick a picture from my 6th post. I didn't start a blog too long ago so these pictures weren't that old. The post was of our family vacation in St. George, I did a slideshow so I had a ton of pictures to choose from but I had to pick this one of Jett and my brother Jesse. I have no doubt this game was Jesse's idea, and this is a typical Jesse pose ( from the time he was a little boy he has always pulled a face for the camera, and this is one of the more mellow ones) !
I am dedicating this post to my siser-in-law Jodi because a while back she posted this picture of her baby.....
where she wrote, and I quote " Mlyee has just started this new smile where she srunches her nose, we can't figure out where she has picked it up from because both Jesse and I don't do it..."

Just thought I would help her out with the mystery :) ha ha ha!

Rock Climbing!

While we were in Vernal last week we took the kids to climb the rockwall at the rec. center where my little sister works. They had so much fun... o.k. maybe Taya had so much fun. I think Jett was still a little too young, he was fine until he looked down and realized how high he was and then he freaked! Taya loved it, every time she got a little higher.

This past week we lost my Uncle in an accident. My brothers and Sisters and I were very close to his kids (my cousins) we all grew up together and always hung out together, we were sometimes more like siblings than cousins. We were all able to go home for the funeral. I was able to stay the whole week because my kids were out of school, and spend some time with them. It was so hard to see my Aunt and cousins go through such a hard time. They are so strong and I don't think you can ever imagine what it would be like until you have been in their shoes. This week it really made me remember what REALLY matters. It always amazes me how in times like these through all the tears and heartache it seems you feel the Saviors love the most. He somehow reminds us how important family is and gives us opportunities to serve one another and love unconditionally. All this stupid stuff that we sometimes waste our time worrying about just really doesn't matter in the end! I love my family so much and I hope that I can remember never to take what we have for granted. My thoughts and prayers are with the Reynolds Family, I love you all so much!

A new little Cousin!

A new "little" 8 lb. 15.4 oz. cousin. My brother Sid and his wife Michelle just had their first little boy! They named him Brock Jay Merkley and he is cutie, we are are loving him to death! The kids were so excited for their new little cuz to come, and the proud new parents are doing amazing, seriously, you should see Michelle she does NOT look like she just had a baby! They are the cutest new little parents!

Lincoln wanted to give Brock lots of loves, but he just isn't that soft so he basically kept head butting him. This little outfit use to be Linc's :( it makes me so sad to think he has grown so much!

My other brother and his wife came out to see the baby last weekend so we tried to get a pic of all the cousins "tried" being the key word. Out of like 20 this is the only one of all of them even sitting on the couch!
